The UK's only fully closed road UGFWS Gran Fondo and UGFWS Chrono event

The Tour Of Cambridgeshire is unlike any other mass participation event in the UK. Uniquely the event caters for everyone whether you are an elite racer, an athletic sports rider, a challenge rider, or just out to test yourself in a more leisurely way on your bike, on closed roads, around the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside. The format is the same as a big city marathon with riders racing to win at the front right back to people wanting to challenge themselves, ride for charity or have a nice day out with the family in a traffic free environment.

If the following describes you then the event is for you:

Saturday: Chrono -

Be a participant in the largest time trial in the world and be treated like a pro – this is open to all abilities from elite to complete novice.

Sunday: Gran Fondo -

Race: Race against your friends and club mates for the podium places for your age group. Compete for your chance to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. You must hold a full race license to be a part of this community.
Sport: Compete against your friends and family, and compete for your chance of qualifying for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship..
Challenge: This community is aimed at the Sportive riders, who wants to enjoy a fully closed road ride with friends and family.
Medio-Fondo: This community is perfect for anyone who isn’t quite sure they are able to complete the full Gran Fondo route but want to be a part of the experience and ride on fully closed roads with friends. This is a shorter option of the full Gran Fondo route.

For ToC 2017, we have added communities for more riders to take advantage of the fully closed road event. We have dedicated start areas and communities for Tandem and Trikes, Recumbents, Fixed Wheel, Folding Bikes and also Classic Bikes.
